Discover the thoughts, feelings, and behaviours that might be holding you back from reaching your sport and fitness goals. This monthly workshop is designed for everyone—whether you're an athlete, a weekend warrior, or just beginning your fitness journey.
The workshop combines psychoeducation with practical tools to set realistic goals, and overcome challenges such as motivation, stress, setbacks, and injuries. Through interactive sessions, group discussions, and tailored exercises, you’ll develop Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) skills to enhance your mental resilience and stay on track.
We’ll also explore common self-sabotaging thoughts and patterns that often arise when starting a new routine and discuss effective strategies to reframe them in a healthy, practical way. This workshop is limited to 8 participants to maximize discussion and provide the best support possible.

Building Motivation and Overcoming Mental Barriers:
Learn strategies to challenge unhelpful thoughts and cultivate a mindset that supports consistent effort and progress.Practical Goal Setting:

Sessions will include theory, practical exercises, and opportunities for reflection as well as some special guest speakers who will share experiences from their fitness and training journeys.
February 9: Introduction to CBT and Developing a Deeper Relationship with Your Mind and Body
You’ll learn the basics of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and how it can help build mental resilience. Gain a deeper understanding of how thoughts, emotions, and behaviours interact to shape your sport and fitness outcomes.
We’ll also reflect on your values and beliefs about fitness, identify unhelpful patterns, and explore practical ways to reframe your relationship with your mind and body to support long-term well-being.

Master the art of setting clear, measurable, and realistic goals that align with your personal values and fitness journey, ensuring sustainable progress.
Date TBC: Managing Stress and Maintaining Focus
Learn how to identify and manage the stressors that arise during your fitness journey, from intense training demands to everyday pressures like work, relationships or shifts in mood.
This session will focus on practical techniques to reduce stress, build mental clarity, and maintain focus by addressing common distractions and energy-draining habits. You’ll gain tools to stay present, consistent and self-compassionate, despite life challenges.
Date TBC: Coping with Injury and Recovery
Illness, fractures, sprains, dislocations or life-changing injuries — whatever comes up, learn some tools to address the psychological challenges of working through illness or injury, including grief, frustration, and self-doubt. Learn to create a psychological recovery plan to stay connected to your fitness goals while prioritizing healing.
